Post stamps

I’ve been a fan of stamps since I was a teenager. Unfortunately I didn’t have access to stamp collections back then. Instead I used to collect subway tickets from Mexico City since they would feature different topics. One time they even feature my undergraduate college! When I moved to the U.S. I stopped collecting subway tickets and started collecting post stamps. I’ve been to a few fairs and it’s pretty impressive to see all kinds of stamps. I have a nice collection now from fairs and some online purchases too. Based on this I decided to do my very own stamp collection.
I love plants and I wanted to do something to honor the United States so the perfect combo was to paint the official flower states. I had a lot of fun painting one a day and posting them on Instagram with some fun facts. They are all small pieces of art that assembly into a large collection. This is one of my favorite projects so far.
